The MONSTER's Lair
Fighting Creek Disc Golf Course, Powhatan, Virginia 23139 USA

The Monster at Fighting Creek is the longest disc golf course in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Established in 2009 and located in Powhatan County, Virginia, this two-mile trail will test your stamina as well as your skill.

From your first drive the Monster will grab and drag you along down long curved fairways, through the woods and up hillsides. When you finally reach some flat terrain to rest you'll be faced with a tee-to-pin distance of 1,169 feet. No throw and float here - multiple drives are required to traverse corduroy hills. At hole twelve the Monster gets one more chance to chew on your scorecard. Teeing off from an elevated position you'll have to field-goal through the trees and park your plastic with precision. Too far to the left or right and the Monster will swallow your disc. After the 8,783 feet of course fairway you'll be ready for a rest before you realize that you're hooked and tee off again.

The Loch Ness has "Nessie" - Fighting Creek has the MONSTER.
